New FF Crystal Chronicles Game Coming to Wii, DS

Square Enix today announced Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time. The sequel to Ring of Fates will be available for Wii and DS. Users will be able to play the game together simultaneously, regardless whether they are playing Echoes of Time on a DS or Wii unit. Via a WiFi connection, parties of up to four players can be formed. Apparently, Miis created on the Wii will also appear in the DS version.The game's story begins, when the protagonist, who had just turned 16, heads out of his village for the first time. Eventually, he will set out on a journey to uncover the secrets of the Crystal. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time for Wii and DS will be available in Japan on January 29th 2009 for 4,800 yen ($45.78 USD).
