Hellgate: London Shutting Down
10.26.08 - 1:43 AM

It's no secret that I was a huge fan of Hellgate: London after playing it during events leading up to its release. I was the driving force behind RPGFan giving it not one, not two, but three Best PC RPG of E3 awards. I felt silly when it came out to be an incredibly buggy, un-fun mess, and the gaming public responded in kind by putting their gaming dollars elsewhere.

Namco Bandai has told those gamers that did put cash down for paid accounts that Hellgate: London will cease to have online play on January 31, 2009. The game will be free to play online until the servers are brought offline.
