Ogre Battle Goes Virtual Console

Nintendo today announced the next round of additions to its Virtual Console download service in Japan. Headlining this month's update is the strategy RPG classic Ogre Battle, which will be available for 800 Wii Points. Wii users will also be able to download the PC Engine version of Nihon Falcom's The Legend of Xanadu for 800 Wii Points later this month.

The Quest-developed Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen was originally released in Japan for the Super Famicom in December 1993. Meanwhile, Xanadu debuted on the PC Engine in February 1994.
