Sega Mega Drive Collection Coming to PS3/XBox 360

Sega has announced the Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The compilation will feature 40 classics that were originally developed for Sega's popular 16-bit hardware platform. Among the games are Beyond Oasis (The Story of Thor), Phantasy Star II, Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom, Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium, Shining in the Darkness, Shining Force and Shining Force 2.
In addition to enhanced 720p HD visuals, unlockable content (arcade games and interviews with the original game developers) as well as Trophy (for PlayStation 3 version) and Achievements (for the Xbox 360 release) support have been added.
The Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection will be available in early 2009.
