Red Eagle Games Announces Wheel of Time Games

Red Eagle Games, a video game studio under the umbrella of Red Eagle Entertainment, the production company producing a live-action movie based on Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series, has announced an upcoming MMORPG and another title for "all major videogame platforms." It has not yet been announced which of Jordan's books the titles will be based upon, though the first movie will be based upon Jordan's first novel in the series, The Eye of the World."I am confident in Red Eagle Games' ability to capture the timeless appeal of The Wheel of Time story as they adapt its characters and themes into this new electronic medium," Jordan's wife and editor Harriet Rigney said. "I expect fans of the series will be delighted by these new interactive additions to the Wheel of Time universe." No date has been set for either title, nor has a developer been announced.
