Falcom Details Brandish PSP
12.02.08 - 9:46 PM

Following last week's announcement that Brandish was PlayStation Portable-bound, Nihon Falcom has shed some more light on its newest project. Titled Brandish: The Dark Revenant, the game is a remake of the series' first installment which was originally released in Japan in 1991. In addition to sword-wielding protagonist Ares, the player will also be able to assume control over the female lead, Dela Delon. Since she is relying on her magic to deal with foes, playing as Dela instead of Ares should offer an experience of a considerably different kind. Further additions to the portable release include an auto-mapping system, a save anytime, anywhere (including in the middle of boss battles) feature and a tutorial section.

Brandish: The Dark Revenant for PlayStation Portable will be available in Japan on March 19th for 4,800 yen ($50.74 USD).
