Atlus Announces The Dark Spire

Today, Atlus announced an upcoming first-person RPG for the Nintendo DS called The Dark Spire. This promises to continue the tradition of honoring the old style of RPGs that began with Etrian Odyssey. Atlus says the game will include two styles of presentation: a "modern" one with slick graphics and interface and a "classic" one with simplistic sprites and menus. The Dark Spire is set to be released on March 10th of 2009 for a suggested retail price of $29.99.
