Chrono Cross 10th Anniversary Arrange Album Update
12.23.08 - 4:50 PM

Today, Yasunori Mitsuda posted a streaming sample of a track from the upcoming Chrono Cross arranged album. Considered the Duke Nukem Forever of game music, this album has been announced, cancelled, planned, delayed, and rescheduled so many times in the last eight years, many people gave up hope that it would ever happen.

But now, on the main page of Procyon Studio, you can hear the newly-recorded music, given as a Holiday gift to fans who waited patiently for the time to arrive.

No official date has been set, but Mitsuda has more than once stated that the album is now planned to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the game's release. Speaking in exact terms, that would mean November 18, 2009, but it could come earlier or later.

Expect more news from us on this album as details become available in the coming months.
