FFVII Available for Download in Japan

Final Fantasy VII International has been made available via the Japanese PlayStation Store's Game Archives service today. The international version of Square Enix's 1997 RPG classic is playable on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable. It carries a price tag of 1,500 yen ($14.99 USD).

Based on the game's North American release, Final Fantasy VII International was released in Japan in October 1997, nine months after the original version went on sale. To date 9.9 million copies of the most popular game in Square Enix's corporate history have been shipped worldwide.
