Lux-Pain Triple Soundtrack Update
How does this game have three soundtracks?!
04.19.09 - 10:06 PM

Co-editor John McCarroll once joked with me that the reason our soundtracks section is so prolific is that, for starters, every game in existence seems to come with at least three soundtrack releases. Okay, so maybe he wasn't joking.

While it's not entirely true that every game gets three soundtracks (some only get zero, some get over a dozen...thank you, Tokimeki Memorial), here's one example of a game that hit the lucky number.

Neal Chandran recently reviewed the DS Graphic Adventure Lux-Pain. As it turns out, the game (which came out in Japan roughly one year ago) has three soundtracks. One is the full, official OST. Another is the opening theme song single, from one of my all-time favorite vocalists, Yoko Takahashi. Then, there's a special promotional album with some "pre-arranged" tunes on it. So that makes three.

Check out these Lux-Pain soundtracks in your spare time, and apologies for not updating this section as frequently in the month of April. It's been a turbulent time for all of us. Expect more (a lot more) in the near future.
