Symphonic Fantasies Concert Announced

Fans of game music in Europe will be pleased to hear that an orchestra concert featuring music from major Square Enix franchises including Final Fantasy, Chrono, Kingdom Hearts and Mana (Seiken Densetsu) will be held in Germany later this year. Titled "Symphonic Fantasies," the concert will be performed by the WDR Radio Orchestra and WDR Radio Choir and conducted by famed conductor Arnold "Arnie" Roth. It is scheduled to take place at Cologne's Koelner Philharmonie concert hall on September 12th at 08:00 pm. Tickets are already on sale, with prices ranging from 6 ($7.79 USD) to 30 euros ($38.94 USD). Those interested in attending the concert in the Western German city can purchase tickets via Ticket Online or Koeln Ticket.

The WDR Radio Orchestra was also recently featured in another Square Enix offering, the drammatica album from Yoko Shimomura. It is likely that some songs from this CD will be featured at the live concert.
