E3: Concept Art for New Wii Zelda Title
And the surprises keep coming...
06.05.09 - 2:40 PM

You may have heard that Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto had mentioned on June 2nd that while the company wasn't showing the next Wii-based installment of The Legend of Zelda, he intended to show the title off at E3 2010. In a somewhat uncharacteristic move for Nintendo, a piece of concept art was released for this untitled Zelda game, which you can see below. Based on the artwork, it appears that the new game will share a visual style with Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess, while the DS will continue to be the home of toon-shaded Link.

Given that the game isn't expected to be formally announced for another year, there is of course no official name or expected release. Take your bets now on what will see the light of day first between this new Zelda, or Square Enix's Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
