Playing death's daughter never looked so pretty.

As you may have heard, DTP's upcoming title Venetica casts you into an alternate-world Venice as Scarlet, who unbeknownst to her, is Death's daughter - no relation to Amber Benson's book of the same name. Besides being set in an alternate reality, players can also shift between a living and dead version of the game's world, gaining extra powers in the latter.

Most important to this update, however, is that Venetica is just very pretty. Take a look at the gallery below, and since we live in a somewhat ADD-based society, if you look at nothing else, look at the first and fifth pages of screens to see why I'm enamored with the visuals.

Venetica is scheduled to be released on both the Xbox 360 and PC this October.
