Are we RPG Fans a bunch of sophisticated, elitist gamers who find enjoyment in the long-suffering tasks set before us in large-scale RPGs? Are the "masses" who enjoy sandbox games and 2D fighters right to call us masochists, self-flagellating with the hit-or-miss experiences of a 60 hour level grind and a drawn-out storyline? Or are these questions entirely irrelevant.
