WildARMS Producer Heads New Company
Witchcraft working on new RPG project.

A new development studio by the name of Witchcraft has officially commenced full operations in Japan. The new outfit's president is Akifumi Kaneko. While the name may not immediately ring a bell with many RPGFans, his most famous brainchild certainly will. At his former employer MediaVision, Kaneko was a key member of the WildARMS development team. At Witchcraft, he is now working on a new RPG title. Kaneko wouldn't share any specifics on his newest project, only calling it a "hot RPG".

At MediaVision, Kaneko had been responsible for the complete game design and scenario of almost all series installments. Later, he served as producer of Wild ARMS 5th Vanguard and XF. In 2008, he left his long-time employer to found Witchcraft. At the new studio, Kaneko is joined by Shoujirou Endou of A-Rank Thunder fame.
