Atlus to Bring Persona 3 to PSP
Remake to ship in Japan only three months from now.
08.18.09 - 12:18 PM

Atlus is working on Persona 3 Portable. The remake of the highly popular PlayStation 2 RPG must have been in development for some time already, since the Shin Megami Tensei makers are planning to release the portable version in Japan as early as November. Fortunately, the new release seems to be more than a straight port. On the pages of Famitsu, Atlus is hinting at a female protagonist and the addition of a new male character. Pictures also show that the character Elizabeth could have a male replacement in the Velvet Room.

Persona 3 Portable will hit Japanese retail store shelves on November 1st. There is no word on a North American release as of yet, but it's surely not out of the question.
