At Sony Computer Entertainment's Tokyo Game Show press conference, Square Enix's Yoshinori Kitase announced that Final Fantasy VIII has been made available for download via the PlayStation Store's Game Archives service. Those with access to a Japanese store account can download the PlayStation classic for 1,500 yen ($16.47 US), starting today.
