D3Publisher Announces Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow for Nintendo DS
Set for release in Spring 2010.
11.07.09 - 11:57 AM

D3Publisher has announced that they will release Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow in the US in Spring 2010. This new installment will go back to the traditional RPG style of the original Blue Dragon on Xbox 360 as opposed to the Strategy RPG style of Blue Dragon Plus released last year. The game will take place 2 years after the events of the first Blue Dragon and will feature a new main character that the player can create himself.

For those who are a little confused about the Blue Dragon series, here's a little recap.

Blue Dragon for the Xbox 360 was developed by Mistwalker and Artoon and was published in Japan and America by Microsoft Game Studios.

Blue Dragon Plus for the Nintendo DS was developed by Mistwalker, Feelplus and Brownie Brown and published in Japan by AQ Interactive and in America by Ignition Entertainment.

Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow for the Nintendo DS was developed by Mistwalker and tri-Crescendo (Eternal Sonata) and published by Namco Bandai in Japan and D3Publisher in America.

Confused yet? In any case, we've got 4 screenshots of the game for you to check out at the link below.
