Massive Sakura Wars Gallery Update
In anticipation of NISA's upcoming localization.
11.22.09 - 2:48 AM

Ah yes, Sakura Wars (aka Sakura Taisen). RED Entertainment's flagship series was and is the holy grail of JRPGs. No American publisher could manage to wrangle a deal with Sega or Sony to bring any of the five games in this series to the US.

None, that is, until NIS America.

We've been waiting a long time for this one. And yes, we're missing the first four entries. But Sakura Wars ~So Long, My Love~ is finally coming. It's the English equivalent of Sakura Taisen V, which news editor Chris Winkler gave an editor's choice award to four years ago at the time of its Japanese PS2 release.

NIS America will be releasing this enhanced version of the game for both PS2 and Wii in early 2010. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our graphics man extraordinaire, Mike Salbato, we have an updated gallery with nearly 100 new English screens from NISA. Enjoy!
