Ogre Battle Review: Virtual Console
03.10.09 - 3:10 PM

Editor Mark P. Tjan wants you to get up and march...with THE BLACK QUEEN!!! (cue wailing electric guitars.)

That's right, friends. Freddie Mercury's number one fan in Japan, Yasumi Matsuno, is seeing his first big game with Quest be re-released on Wii's Virtual Console service. Hopefully, wherever Matsuno-san is, he's pleased to see that people still love his classic Strategy RPG, Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen.

So while we wait for Matsuno to come back to the scene after his leaving it halfway through development on Final Fantasy XII, we'll have to be satisfied with playing the classics. And you can't get more classic than the original Ogre Battle. Check out Mark's full review of the game by clicking below.
