First Atelier Rorona Details Surface

Last week we reported on a magazine ad in Dengeki PlayStation magazine introducing the gaming public to Atelier Rorona. Today, Gust released the first batch of details on its first PlayStation 3 title. The game will feature 3D visuals and full voice acting. For battles a popular technique known as toon rendering is being employed.Not so surprisingly, the game's protagonist is named Rorona. She is a 14-year old rookie alchemist. Rorona will be able to create more than 100 different kinds of items for the player. Depending on the quality of the items used, the result of the fusion might differ, even if the same material were used. Atelier Rorona for PlayStation 3 will go on sale in Japan on June 25th for 6,800 yen ($69.23 USD).
