Atlus USA has announced a pre-order bonus for Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable, the upcoming PSP version of the critically acclaimed school simulator/dungeon crawler. Fans who head over to Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, GameStop.com, or their nearest GameStop store can secure a baseball cap modeled after that of SEES member Junpei Iori with their pre-order.

A press release from Atlus offered the following:

"Hardcore roleplaying game fans are always telling us how memorable the cast of characters in Persona 3 is for them," commented Aram Jabbari, Manager of Public Relations and Sales, as he adjusted his Junpei baseball cap whilst gazing into a mirror. "We could think of no more exciting a pre-order bonus than something straight out of the game, an extra that evokes a beloved character and has the power to make gamers feel like they're part of the SEES squad of students responsible for saving the world from darkness."

Persona 3 Portable adds a wealth of content to a game already packed with features, including a new female protagonist, new Social Links, and the ability to manually control other SEES members in battle.

The game is scheduled for a North American release on July 6, and will carry an MSRP of $39.99.
