Phantasy Star Portable 2 Gets a North American Release Date
It's going to be a busy summ- oh wait, this is a fall date?
05.21.10 - 9:58 PM

Sega America has announced that Phantasy Star Portable 2 will be released in North America. The PSP title takes place three years after the events of Phantasy Star Portable, where the Gurhal System has done away with the threat of SEED. Now, however, the war has since depleted them of resources, and the protagonists face new problems.

Up to four players can connect through the Ad-Hoc and Infrastructure modes. The game will borrow two features from Phantasy Star Online - Battle and Challenge missions, and boasts twice as much content as previous titles, such as new and returning characters, new abilities and all-new bosses. The battle system will also be more action-oriented as an homage to past titles.

Phantasy Star Portable 2 will be released in North America and Europe sometime in the fall.
