When I first saw press materials for Ankama Studios' strategy-based MMORPG
DOFUS five years ago, I was fairly impressed. But when I played the game itself, it was lacking some "oomph." Particularly, the in-game graphics did not live up to the concept art. I guess that's what stopped me from really getting into it.
That all changed in December of 2009, when Ankama launched DOFUS 2.0. Ostensibly the same game, but with a more refined coding structure and impressive 2D graphics, I was instantly attracted. So I spent some time in the game, learning the ins and outs, and I'm back with a report for you. That'd be the first link below.
