Pokémon Black and White Japanese Release Date Announced

Pokémon Black and White, the newest original games in the long running monster catching/raising/battling series, will be released in Japan on September 18th. The date for the two Nintendo DS titles was announced on the Pokémon Sunday Broadcast, a weekly show that provides information on the Pokémonseries. Black and White look to make a variety of changes and improvements to the series; in addition to the new pokémon joining the series' already large roster, the games will feature a graphical upgrade, 3-on-3 pokémon battles, and more.

Pokémon Black and White will come out in North America some time next spring.
