Since its unveiling at E3 2006,
Final Fantasy Versus XIII has remained somewhat of an enigma. Aside from a mysterious CG trailer and a few story tidbits, very little has been revealed about the game itself.
Fans, rejoice: the silence has been broken. In an interview with Dengeki magazine, director Tetsuya Nomura stated that the game's scenario and character designs are officially complete. This implies that the story, script, world, and characters should be firmly established, concluding the design phase of this long-awaited title. The first in-game screenshots were also revealed, and can be seen below.
No release date has been announced for Versus XIII, but details are expected to emerge this September at the Tokyo Game Show.
