SMT Soundtracks Update
Persona 3 Portable and Strange Journey OSTs covered! Thanks Liz!
01.24.10 - 5:24 PM

It's not often we're able to coax news editor Liz Maas into writing a soundtrack review. But she just couldn't resist an opportunity to talk about music for the Shin Megami Tensei series.

Both of today's soundtracks are composed solely by Shoji Meguro. One is a ten track EP-sized OST for Persona 3 Portable. The other is for the new DS game Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey. Same composer, indeed, but two very different musical styles.

It's already confirmed that Atlus USA will be bundling the Strange Journey soundtrack with preorders of the DS game; hopefully, it will be a full replica of the Japanese OST. As for P3P, we don't know yet, but Atlus USA does love to "spoil" its faithful followers.

To get a leg up on how the music sounds, you can listen to the audio samples and read Liz Maas' reviews of these two albums. Enjoy!
