Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded Japanese Release Date Set
Also a couple of battle details.
07.22.10 - 6:24 PM

Square Enix yesterday announced that their Nintendo DS remake of a cellphone title, Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded has a definite Japanese release date. As well, according to the latest issue of Famitsu, one of the features of the battle system has been revealed. Overclock is similar to what you might have seen in other Square Enix titles - say, Final Fantasy, for example - in which a gauge fills up each time a character attacks or uses his/her skills. Once the gauge is full, the player will unlock and be able to use healing or other special abilities.

Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded will be released in Japan on October 7th for 5490 yen ($63.16 US). While there is no North Americanm release date as of yet, you can bet that one is coming, since the title was on display at last month's E3.
