Demon's Souls Online Support Extended to March 2011
Looks like Boletaria still needs saving...
07.22.10 - 11:48 PM

When Demon's Souls was released last October, no one would have predicted the game would be a hit. From Software's action RPG was almost anachronistically hard, a game perpendicular to the mainstream titles that filled the rest of the holiday season. But Demon's Souls mania spread like a wildfire, and the game garnered tremendous critical acclaim and a passionate fanbase. Due to this overwhelming success, Atlus USA has announced that they will maintain the game's online servers until March 2011.

This gives gamers who haven't yet picked up Demon's Souls a chance to experience some of the most inventive online gameplay to grace consoles. In celebration of this announcement Atlus is setting the online World Tendency to Pure White, making the game a touch easier for new players over the next few weeks.

Demon's Souls is available on the PlayStation 3, and is currently on sale for $29.99.
