EA Announces New Action RPG, Darkspore
Like Spore, but dark and filled with teen angst.

After many rumors and much speculation EA has finally revealed Darkspore, the action-RPG spinoff to 2008's strategy/god game Spore. The new science-fiction action RPG will have up to four players battling the malicious forces of the titular Darkspore in an attempt to save the galaxy. Players will form a team of genetic heroes which they can customize using found body parts and armor (Darkspore's versions of loot). With three classes and five heroes types, Darkspore will provide players with almost limitless possibilities for character customization. The game will also feature an AI Director that will allow for a highly replayable game experience.

Darkspore is scheduled to hit PC's in February 2011.
