Shining Force Hits App Store
Classic strategy RPG action on my soon-to-be iPhone 4? Yes!
07.30.10 - 2:11 AM

Late yesterday, Apple's app store saw a key addition to its growing library of RPGs - Sega's strategy RPG classic Shining Force. Although it was remade in 2004 for the GameBoy Advance, the iOS version is actually a port of the 1993 original, which was released on the Sega Genesis. The story, perhaps well-known by now, followed a silent protagonist who recruits some allies on his way to stopping Darksol from summoning a Dark Dragon for naturally nefarious purposes such as destroying the world.

Shining Force for iOS devices is available in the App Store for $2.99 US.
