Ys SEVEN Goes Gold, Official Website Launches
The first of several Ys titles from XSEED will release later this month.

We here at RPGFan have gone on about how impressed we are by XSEED's commitment to bringing quality RPGs to North America. English-speaking Ys devotees have endured five long years since the series' last title was released, but the wait for guitar-fueled, monster-slaying action is almost over. XSEED has officially announced that Ys SEVEN will be released on August 17th. The game will be available as a standard edition ($29.99 US, also available digitally on the Playstation Network) and a collector's edition ($49.99 US), complete with a cloth map, soundtrack CD, and art book.

A new website has also been launched, containing game information, trailers, wallpapers, and some rockin' music samples. Look for further coverage on our E3 2010 Overall RPG of the Show in the near future.
