Monolith Sharpening Xenoblade
Wii-based RPG in the works.
01.29.10 - 4:42 PM

Nintendo subsidiary Monolith Soft is working on a Wii-based RPG titled Xenoblade (originally announced as Monado last year). A teaser site has already been opened for the game, which is set to go on sale in Japan as early as this spring. Xenoblade will be the first Wii-based title developed by Tetsuya Takahashi and Co.

No details regarding the game have been announced yet; though it bears the "Xeno" prefix, it is unlikely that the game could have direct relation to Xenosaga or Xenogears since the rights to those franchises are believed to belong exclusively to Namco Bandai and Square Enix, respectively.
