Phantasy Star II Coming to iOS This Week
Sega continues with its iPorts of old classics.
08.25.10 - 1:04 AM

Following the recent addition of Shining Force, SEGA listened to its fans and has revealed that they will bring another classic RPG to the iPhone and iPod Touch platform, Phantasy Star II. Originally released for the Genesis in the 1990s, the pre-Phantasy Star Online titles remain huge fan favorites. Phantasy Star II will use the same Genesis-emulating software as its previous iOS releases, including the button overlays.

Phantasy Star II will be made available on the App Store this Thursday. Though no pricing was given, SEGA's other recent classic-gone-iOS titles have been in the $2.99-5.99 US range.
