Atlus to Merge With Parent Company, Brand Will Live On

Atlus-parent company Index Holdings announced today that they will absorb the star RPG-development/publishing subsidiary as well as the mobile developer Index. The merger is intended to allow for more effective work between company divisions and will help expand Atlus's existing IP's.

What does this mean for you, the player? Hopefully not much. A representative from Index Holdings stated that the Atlus brand will still be used for publishing purposes in the foreseeable future. However, the press release makes no mention of what will happen to Atlus's foreign divisions in the wake of the merger. Stay tuned to find out more in the coming days.
