TGS 2010: Project Dark Announced
Another dark fantasy RPG from the Demon's Souls team... + a trailer!
09.19.10 - 3:31 AM

Sony announced during their presentation at Tokyo Game Show that the team behind last year's critically acclaimed action RPG, Demon's Souls, has a new title in the works. Shown off was From Software's Project Dark, another dark action RPG which looks very much like a spiritual successor to Demon's Souls. The 'tense' dungeon crawler will have an online mode, but otherwise, there was very little said about the game - just to expect more details next year.

Project Dark will be a PlayStation3-exclusive in Japan, but Namco Bandai has the publishing rights for the title in both North America and Europe, and they have already confirmed plans to release the game both on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in those markets. If you haven't picked up Demon's Souls yet, it has just become a Greatest Hit and is now $29.99 US, so you have no excuse now!
