Zenonia was one of the first serious contenders on the platform when it released last May, and has sold over a million copies worldwide across its varied platforms. If you've been curious to play it, but just don't have the hardware for it - and well, happen to have a DSi - today is a good day for you. GAMEVIL has brought
Zenonia to the DS through DSiWare.
While it's big news for gamers - since everyone knows those Monday Wii/DS updates are hit or miss at best - it's even bigger news for GAMEVIL, as it marks their first major console release. In their press release, the company also mentions it "plans on extending ZENONIA continuously." Given that the company plans further, unspecified DS releases, as well as more platforms for Zenonia, one must wonder if the game's two sequels may show up on Nintendo's handheld at some point.
Of course, for that to happen, it might not hurt to show your support and check the game out - just sayin'. Zenonia is available on DSiWare today for 800 Nintendo DSi Points.
