Aksys Games Reveals Otome Survey
And you should take it!

Otome games (or "maiden" games) are games that pit you, as a female protagonist, in a situation where you will choose one of many guys to date/fall in love with/marry. In other words, it's a dating sim/graphic adventure/visual novel with a target audience of primarily the ladies (though plenty of guys enjoy them too!).

It looks like Aksys Games has published this survey to gauge whether or not fans would take to the genre. The first question of the survey asks if you even know what Otome games are (hey, now you can answer "yes"!!). The 10 question survey also asks specifically which Otome games you've heard of. They list a number of Idea Factory's "Otomate label" games (including Death Connection), as well as one of the only localized Otome games to date, Hirameki and TWO-FIVE's Yo-Jin-Bo.
