Soundtracks Update: Tales of Graces, Persona Music Live Band, Death Connection Character Song Album
That's, um ... 3 albums total. Which is the best?
09.28.10 - 9:46 PM

I think you already know the answer to that.

Ashton Liu brings the review of the latest arranged album from Shoji Meguro and crew. It's Persona Music Live Band. Live recordings of music from Persona 3, Persona 4, and the affiliated anime (which, on a related note, is being released stateside thanks to the efforts of NIS America).

Good stuff!

On the not-so-good-stuff side, Mr. Liu takes on the Tales of Graces OST. It's another 4-disc monstrosity from Sakuraba et al. Hint: not a big achievement.

(Double hint: I love Ashton)

Finally, a totally unexpected surprise in the form of the Death Connection Character Song Album. Not every track is a winner, but if you take a listen to the audio samples, you may agree with me that one or two of them are cool. I was saving this review for a rainy day, and then Aksys went and mentioned the game in their new Otome Survey. So, yeah, I'm excited. Count me in, people.

Next update? Probably some new Dragon Quest arranged albums, among other things. We'll see!
