New Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Screen Shots
3D or not, Link is looking mighty fine.
09.29.10 - 11:11 PM

It's a much debated topic, whether Ocarina of Time or something else is the best game in the Zelda series. I doubt the discussion will be going away, and helping that along is Nintendo's decision to bring the game to their newest handheld, the Nintendo 3DS. News broke today that the hardware releases early in 2011, though there's not a known date for Zelda itself yet.

What we DO finally get a glimpse of in one of the new screen shots is how the game uses the 3DS' lower screen. Yes, it's a map, as you imagined. Though circling that map is… well, just go look. While it remains to be seen what other changes will come, it's also clear that Link's in-game model has been highly refined on the new hardware, so one must wonder what other nice surprises are in store.
