While fans wait patiently (or in some cases, impatiently) for the long-awaited release of
Final Fantasy Versus XIII, it looks like Square Enix is actually taking some action in continuing the game's development. Earlier today they put up a
job posting on their site for both battle planners and level designers with 3D experience. But the most interesting part of the job posting is that applicants must also have experience developing for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Hmm. Designer Tetsuya Nomura has long insisted that Versus XIII will be a PS3 exclusive. But keep in mind that Square Enix originally said that about Final Fantasy XIII in Japan, too, and look what is being released in December. Needless to say it'll be interesting to see what happens.
Final Fantasy Versus XIII has no definite release window.
