Well... we're not quite ready to review Final Fantasy XIV yet. As you may have heard, the game is still incomplete, despite Square Enix's implied statement to the contrary (official release was in September).

But it's good to know there's an 8-year-old MMORPG upon which you can fall back. Final Fantasy XI: Vision of Abyssea is the first in a three-part series of $10 add-ons. They're combat-based, they take place in the alternate dimension "Abyssea" (duh), and they're shaping up to be pretty good. Full details in the link below.
