As of this update, I'm not entirely sure just what
Disgaea fans will be more interested in: a whole bunch of new
Disgaea 4 media, or the punishment system's details. Luckily for you, we have both! Before, this system was
vaguely alluded to the last time we talked about Nippon Ichi's upcoming title. But now, it looks like the 'punishment' will be one of a few options. A new menu opens up and you can tie up the victim's legs or hands, listen to their concerns (will they beg you to let them go? Stay tuned!), give them a massage or... talk dirty to them. Yep. Makes me wonder what the game's ESRB rating will be. What's the purpose of the punishment though? NIS isn't letting on quite yet, but it should be amusing if nothing else.
And now you can move on to our gallery, where you'll find the game has anime cameos like Meito Anizawa from Anime Tencho. There's lots of both screenshots and art so check it all out below! Disgaea 4 for the PlayStation 3 is out on February 11th in Japan, and later next year in North America.
