Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity's crossovers and tie-ins have been all over the place, from Colonel Sanders to Nico Nico to giant mechs to
Vocaloids. SEGA has been announcing some more each week ever since TGS, and this time the crossover is less unusual. It turns out that you'll be able to purchase some costumes via the PlayStation Store from SEGA's other two upcoming PSP RPGs,
Valkyria Chronicles 3 and
Shining Hearts.
Last year, the original Phantasy Portable 2 did a similar tie-in with Valkyria Chronicles 2, in which players got various outfits and weapons, except that time they were all free. There hasn't been any media floating around nor prices for the costumes or items for Infinity - let alone which ones, exactly - but we'll share once all that is available.
Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity will be released in Japan on February 24th, 2011.
