The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Dated For May
With a kingly collector's edition to boot!
11.17.10 - 12:05 AM

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is a game that many editors here at RPGFan are looking forward to. The ambitious sequel boasts an updated game engine with better graphics and much improved combat, as well as a more dynamic dialogue system. We liked the direction CD Projekt RED was taking so much, in fact, that we awarded it Best PC RPG at E3 2010.

If you're looking forward to the game as much as we are, you'll be pleased to know that it now has an official release date of May 17th, 2011. More information should surface on November 18th from the CD Projekt publisher's press conference, including details about the game's beefy collector's edition, which surfaced on GameStop.com but disappeared shortly thereafter. In the meantime, check out John McCarroll's preview of The Witcher 2 from E3!
