Atari's Venetica Announced for North America
What? Atari's not dead?

Atari has just announced that they are bringing the German action RPG Venetica over to North America this January. Venetica is a game that casts the player in the role of Scarlett, the daughter of Death, and takes place in 16th century Venice. HD gamers can rejoice, as Venetica is being released for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on January 11th, 2011. Perhaps you'll be able to exchange one of your non-RPG-related holiday presents for it. I mean, who really needs more socks anyways?

Though Venetica wasn't particularly well-received in Germany (or at E3 two years ago), there's a dearth of console RPGs coming out around this time. So take solace in the fact that you CAN get your RPG fix early next year!
