Get A Taste Of The 3rd Birthday's Soundtrack
Including... Christmas tuneage? Aya needs some joy in her world after all...
12.07.10 - 12:26 AM

The 3rd Birthday is just weeks away in Japan, and so is its soundtrack. Thankfully, for fans who love Parasite Eve music, they can sample some of the third game's tracks before buying the OST. Square Enix has opened up a site just for the soundtrack where you'll be greeted with a nicely updated rendition of the first Parasite Eve's opening theme. Click on the Tracklist tab and you'll get to listen to some of the tracks from all three discs. You'll notice that the first disc has a track named Joy To The World -for The 3rd Birthday- ...yes, it's THAT Joy To The World. Not very surprising, since the release is so close to Christmas. To hear this rendition, you have to go here to the Creator's Message blog and hit the Play button.

Both The 3rd Birthday for the PlayStation Portable and its soundtrack will be released in Japan on December 22nd. The OST will cost 3500 yen ($42.45 US), and first print editions will come in a special sleeve case. The Japanese site for the game has also been updated, and there you'll find some, er, distracting wallpapers of Aya. (You're welcome.) Heck, if your Twitter needs new avatars and/or backgrounds, it's got those too!
