Final Fantasy I & II Now Available for iPhone/iPod touch
Also, other Square Enix games go on sale in celebration. Yay!

Slightly over a month after the duo's announcement, the iPhone/iPod touch versions of Square Enix's Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II went live yesterday in the iTunes App Store. As of this writing, Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II are the #1 and #2 games in the RPG category respectively, with the first game #7 in the overall Top Paid Apps chart. As revealed in screen shots, both titles are visually similar to the PSP editions released in 2007, though of course feature updated menus with touch-friendly access.

Early reports seem favorable, and you can check out both games below. The official site for both games is also below and worth a look, even if the games aren't yet represented on Square Enix's site.

While in iTunes, don't forget to take a look at Square Enix's other titles, most (all?) of which are on sale for a week to commemorate these releases.
