Soundtracks Update: Ushering in a New Decade of Good Music
Including: Magna Carta II, Kingdom Hearts on piano, Phantasy Star Portable 2, Professor Layton 4, and Tales of the World Radiant Mythology 2.
02.27.10 - 12:23 AM

You see, I put all of that in the headline text so I wouldn't have to spell it out for you here.

What I will say is that none of the five albums reviewed are more than 12 months old. Some of them came out within the last 2 months, in fact. So it's a pretty healthy mix of "sorta new" and "really new."

Of note, the piano album in question for Kingdom Hearts is the second album in what could turn into a long series of albums. This second album blows the first one out of the water. Why? The album's subtitle is "Field & Battle." No stupid character themes that none of us could remember. This is the exciting, interesting, piano-friendly music. You'll likely enjoy it quite a bit.

As for the rest? It's mostly a high quality set of soundtracks. All five reviews come from the world's greatest soundtrack reviewer, me.
