Tales of Monkey Island Hits iPad
Because we could all use a bit more Guybrush in our iPads.

Today has been a surprisingly huge day for iOS gamers. We'll be posting about some other noteworthy releases, but first, Telltale Games surprised us by bringing Tales of Monkey Island to the iPad, with Episode I now available in the App Store (iTunes link) for $6.99 USD.

Previously available through WiiWare, the PC and Mac, and detailed here by Monkey Island expert John, Tales of Monkey Island [HD] Episode 1 is currently only available on the iPad - there's no word yet on if the title will see a release on the smaller-screened iPhone and iPod touch. There's also not yet information on when or if we can expect to see the other four episodes become available, but in any case, if you're itching for more adventures with Guybrush Threepwood (um, and have an iPad), it's your lucky day!
